Historic grand lodge architecture meets modern mountain design in one of our latest projects. High atop of Faraway Road in Snowmass Village is the beginnings of what will soon be gorgeous 4,000 square foot home that gives a nod to turn of the century structures in National Parks. We mirrored elements from the Timberline Lodge in Oregon (pictured above), like the rugged rock exterior and the rooftop dormers – giving it an authentic mountain retreat feel. Massive windows let in abundant natural light and showcase the stunning views of Independence Pass, national forests and the Snowmass Valley. A gazebo off the master bedroom provides a private, covered outdoor space for the retired, Texan owners. The 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths make it a perfect getaway their extended family, and the ski-in/ski-out location is unbeatable. The home will be finished in spring of 2018.
